Twilight

IMG_1413

1

I feel your touch

only when you’re near

your embrace’s warmth

drives away my fears

2

a hundred times secured

when the wrap enfolds

as you kiss my lips

i have braved the colds

3

When the night steps onward

and  defeats the golden sun

before the world turns black

it ends all the fun

4

Tail end of the afternoon

will be painted soon

another hue of the sky

will soon bid to retire

5

The buzzing of the bees

and the birds in flight

 need a rest for peace

when the sun calms its light

6

Before the morning souls

their aching backs recline

and rest their bodies and minds

as their respective job defines

7

Morning time and night time

at the horizon’s light

the border line has come

into the midst of twilight

8

 The church’s brass bells

at  Angelus time

 release its holy spells

before the night hour primes

9

Then the dark becomes old

into its deepest space of the mold

into another period of time

wakes the morning divine

10

The morning breeze

rushes to the shore

cool winds races

with the storm unborn

 11

Our minds will reign over

and not rush with the emotion

 like everyone’s story

the future still unknown

STARLESS NIGHT

2014 - 1 (9)

1

the stars seem to be hiding

from my lonely sight tonight

somebody must have hid them

from me to twinkle bright

2

or somebody covered my eyes

with clouds so thick so wide

or is it the forthcoming storm

with thunder rolling to form

3

or somebody gathered them, put them in a box

intentionally stored them,  put them in stacks

or the Lord did not hang them tonight

so people can see how’s our world without Light

4

but the Lord is unforgetful

for the things He had given

He has a purpose for all His actions

to show to people directions

5

He has the power to take them back

He’ll gather to safety all His flock

and to give what to whom

just like the stars He had broomed

GIFT OF NO RETURN

Red_Christmas_present_on_white_background

i’m giving you a gift

a gift you didn’t ask

but you said, “i’m sorry”

“i don’t need it, it’s a trash”

but this gift is priceless

a sincere present, nothing is attached

string, rope, or iron chain

those can never be the aim

connecting something in return

a service or commitment will burn

the bridge i’ll reach i won’t cross

the gift won’t gather rust or moss
