CLIMATE – Abecedarian poem : NaPoWriMo 2015, Day 10

NAIA, Batanes-09-2,3-2014 278 (2)
Acrid face of summer simmering in heat
Ballistic temperature of tampered change
Commencing, the end is further to beat
Disturbing the process of the usual climate
Enveloped flower of heated atmosphere
Fragrance is gone, dried up salty tears
Guidance of rain is still awaited
Hell has flared up in oceans and seas
Intense and burning the hearts are gripped
Juggling all the reasons making mockeries to wit
Kindness, when, away to be given
Landscape now in khaki then in green
Mistress of the forest flying unto me
Nurture our land, give a generous rain
Over the rolling valleys, hills and caked plains
Ponds are dry, the cracked fields have no grains
Queer as it is but, wet this land
Revive the cycle to properly plant
Seasons of each year make it sure
Teach our people to love our nature
Unreachable stars will fall in sight
Visions of tomorrow will be silently bright
Withered leaves of snow will now drift
Xylophones of notes will soon be heard with might
You and I will enjoy the weather, together
Zealots of spring, autumn, fall, and winter
